Good news for Facebook users, now it’s easy to delivers presents to their loved one. The world No. 1 social networking site is launching its Gift service, allowing users to send chocolate, coffee, socks and other real-life presents to each other.
Currently Facebook Gifts launched in the U.S., but very soon over the coming months, worldwide people can enjoy one of the best social services, wishing beloved with gifts on their birthdays, weddings and other life events.
Users have just need to click on a “gifts” icon on their Facebook friends’ pages on Facebook’s website or on Android mobile phones, presents displaying window will open with lots of option to buy. The iPhone and iPad versions are still in waiting list.
A Starbucks gift card, cupcakes or a teddy bear, gourmet ice cream, Andy Warhol prints, flowers, organic dog toys and spa packages are the gifts available in Gift services. There is another icon on the right side of users’ Facebook pages with the notifications for friends’ birthdays, weddings and other life events.
Interestingly, Facebook will notify to the recipient to log on a delivering address for the getting gifts and they can choose their own favorite flavors or size of cupcake and style of socks and there is exchange gifts option too.
Facebook Gifts launch is the first entry into e-commerce and the company will charge a price cut from each item sold, but still price not mentioned.
